Hello! My name is Jeroen Cools. I am a Belgian applied computer science teacher and system/ network manager for VIBO - an organisation of several schools.
My job as a teacher revolves around teaching pupils (16 to 18 years old) about: computer hardware, operating systems, networking, cybersecurity ...
The "IT crowd" part of my job is to make sure that pupils and staff (more than 1000 people in total) have access to working computers, a safe and reliable network and all the digital tools that they need to create a powerful learning environment. And I love every single minute of it.

During my free time I love travelling, gaming, long-distance running to clear my head, cooking, watching films, using ICT for various creative projects, photography, building cosy cabins in the garden, playing board games (and sometimes trying to create one myself) ...

I am never bored - I'll sleep when I'm too old and tired.

As the name implies, this site will serve as a central hub for all my ICT related activities. I will post updates on professional and personal projects. Feel free to contact me for collaborations, to organise workshops or lectures, for technical support or just to discuss something ICT related.
